Everyday Korean for English speakers: 100 useful beginner sentences
Learn the Korean that fills an ordinary day. Each English prompt describes a real situation, and the answer is one complete Korean sentence you can listen to and say aloud.
What this deck teaches
Beginner courses often start with isolated vocabulary. Real life asks for complete lines: checking whether someone has their keys, asking for a bag, explaining that the light does not work, or saying you may be late.
The 100 cards are grouped around home routines, neighborhood errands, chores, deliveries, household supplies, room problems, weather, payments, getting ready and small mishaps. Working by setting makes the language easier to retrieve when the same moment happens outside the deck.
Every answer stays in Hangul so VoiceCards can select the Korean voice and speech recognition correctly. Start in Listen mode if Hangul still feels slow, then switch to Speak mode and retrieve the sentence from the English situation.
How to study everyday Korean
- Choose one setting. Start with ten cards from one setting, such as home or the convenience store, instead of mixing the full deck.
- Listen for the ending. Loop the group until common polite endings sound familiar and predictable.
- Answer before reading. Read the English situation, say the Korean, then reveal the Hangul answer as feedback.
- Change one detail. Swap the item, time or place after the original sentence becomes easy.
