Korean travel phrases for English speakers: 100 sentences for your trip
Prepare the sentences a trip to Korea actually requires. Each card gives an English travel situation and asks you to say one practical Korean response aloud.
What this deck teaches
A phrasebook helps you point at a line, but it does not prepare you to produce that line while someone is waiting. This deck turns the common moments of a Korea trip into short speaking drills.
Ten groups follow the shape of a real journey: airport arrival, public transport, restaurants, cafes, shopping, hotels, directions, payments, greetings and emergencies. The answers are complete polite utterances rather than single lookup words.
The answer column uses Hangul only. Listen before your trip to learn the rhythm, then practise speaking from the English situation until the sentence arrives without translation word by word.
How to study Korean for travel
- Follow your itinerary. Study the airport and transport groups first, then move to food, hotels and shopping.
- Finish one location. Learn all ten cards for one place so you can handle a full interaction there.
- Practise trouble early. Repeat the lost bag, wrong charge and health cards before you need them.
- Speak at travel speed. Answer within a beat, then check pronunciation and politeness after the attempt.
