Memorize Surah Saba (Sheba): recite the Quran by heart
Surah Saba (سبإ, "Sheba") is a Meccan surah of 54 verses — enough that it wants to be worked in sections. Each card carries one ayah: reference to recite from, Arabic to recite, English as a note.
What this deck teaches
Hifz — memorizing the Quran — is done in Arabic, by hearing and repeating the exact wording, ayah after ayah. Surah Saba runs to 54 verses, which is past the point where you can hold it all at once. Working it in sections of five or ten, and revising the earlier sections while you add new ones, is what stops the beginning slipping while you learn the end.
It is a Meccan surah, sitting in the first half of the mushaf at number 34. Meccan surahs tend towards shorter ayat and a strong cadence, which is a help when you are reciting from memory rather than reading.
"Sheba" is what the name means, and it points at something inside the surah rather than at a summary of it — a useful anchor once several surahs of similar length are in your head. The reference is the prompt and the Arabic ayah is the answer, read aloud; the English translation rides along as a note you can show or ignore. Keeping the two scripts in separate fields is what stops the Arabic being mangled when it is spoken. How to memorize Surah Saba with VoiceCards

- Recite from the reference. Switch to Speak mode. See only the reference, recite the ayah from memory, then reveal the card and check every word. The English note is there when you want the meaning, and out of the way when you do not.
- Sections, not sprints. Take 54 verses in blocks of five or ten and revise the finished blocks alongside the new one. The revision is not optional at this length — it is the part that makes it stick.
- Loop the ones that slip. Star the ayat that come out shaky and give them their own short Listen loop the next morning. An ayah you can recite cleanly from the reference three days running is one you own.
