English speaking decks for Japanese speakers

Two decks for Japanese speakers who understand more English than they can say quickly. One works from everyday situations, the other from the question you just heard — both ask for a complete English sentence out loud.

The bottleneck for most Japanese learners is not vocabulary or grammar, it is the delay between understanding a prompt and producing a sentence. Reading practice does not shorten that delay, because recognising an answer and retrieving one are different skills. Both decks here are built so the retrieval happens first and the checking happens second.

Start with the daily chunks deck if conversations are where you freeze, and with the instant response deck if you are preparing for a spoken test or find questions harder than statements. They are deliberately kept apart: one is organised by situation, the other by question form, and no sentence appears in both.

If you are preparing specifically for OPIc, the OPIc decks are the better fit — those teach the reusable fragments a long exam answer is assembled from, which is a different job from the whole utterances taught here.
