Memorize anything you can phrase as a question
Production beats recognition: saying an answer out loud is a stronger memory act than nodding at it. VoiceCards applies that one principle to any subject — if you can write it as a question and an answer, you can drill it by voice.
Topic-agnostic by design
Historical dates, scientific definitions, scripture verses, song lyrics, legal terms, chemical formulas, speech lines — decks are just two columns in your own Google Sheet. Users study everything from Steve Jobs' commencement address to periodic-table facts and assembly procedures.
No deck handy? Describe the topic, snap photos of the source, or attach a PDF, and the AI builds the question-answer pairs for you — you edit what it gets wrong and start speaking.
Two modes, one loop
Speak mode tests recall: see or hear the question, say the answer aloud, and check it right away. Listen mode reads both sides hands-free with the screen off. Alternate listening with spoken recall to practice both familiarity and retrieval.
Repetition you can keep up
A daily Today's-5 quest resurfaces cards you haven't seen in a while and grows a streak when you keep it up. Smart shuffle biases toward cards you miss, bookmarks let you drill trouble spots, and per-deck goals turn "study more" into a bar that visibly fills. If you drift for a couple of days, one reminder brings you back to the exact card you stopped at.
