Memorize Surah An-Nazi'at (Those who drag forth): recite the Quran by heart
Surah An-Nazi'at (النازعات, "Those who drag forth") is a Meccan surah of 46 verses — enough that it wants to be worked in sections. Each card carries one ayah: reference to recite from, Arabic to recite, English as a note.
What this deck teaches
Hifz — memorizing the Quran — is done in Arabic, by hearing and repeating the exact wording, ayah after ayah. Surah An-Nazi'at runs to 46 verses, which is past the point where you can hold it all at once. Working it in sections of five or ten, and revising the earlier sections while you add new ones, is what stops the beginning slipping while you learn the end.
It sits in Juz Amma, the last thirtieth of the mushaf, which is the part most people memorize first and the part heard most often in prayer. Like most of the surahs around it, An-Nazi'at is Meccan: the ayat are short and the rhythm is tight, which is exactly what makes them hold in the ear.
Its title, "Those who drag forth", is drawn from a word that appears in the text. Learning the meaning alongside the sound gives you a second handle on the surah. The reference is the prompt and the Arabic ayah is the answer, read aloud; the English translation rides along as a note you can show or ignore. Keeping the two scripts in separate fields is what stops the Arabic being mangled when it is spoken. How to memorize Surah An-Nazi'at with VoiceCards

- Sections, not sprints. Take 46 verses in blocks of five or ten and revise the finished blocks alongside the new one. The revision is not optional at this length — it is the part that makes it stick.
- Loop the ones that slip. Star the ayat that come out shaky and give them their own short Listen loop the next morning. An ayah you can recite cleanly from the reference three days running is one you own.
